Terms & Conditions
All prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
All orders must be placed in writing with your colour choices clearly stated for fabrics, table tops and frame finishes etc. Verbal orders will not be accepted under any circumstances. Manufacture date will only commence once we have received all information, as this will prevent errors from occurring.
We will issue an order acknowledgement for all written purchase orders that we receive. Although we will endeavour to interpret your instructions correctly, occasionally error may occur. Ultimately it is your responsibility to check the contents of the acknowledgement thoroughly – failure to do so could result in incorrect goods being supplied, therefore, Aspire Seating will not be held responsible for any errors which occur as a result of this.
We will not be held responsible for rectification / replacement for any rejected items where customers have not requested colour swatches prior to ordering to confirm their exact colour match, nor where customers have not made clear their colour requirements.
DINING UNITS: FAST FOOD UNITS & DINING BENCHES
For orders of 5+ qty dining units and where deliveries are made within our usual delivery lead times, carriage is free to mainland England, Wales and a line below Glasgow and Edinburgh to a single destination. Orders of 1-4 dining units will be subject to a minimum £50.00 + VAT surcharge and this will be applied to all orders to a single destination. If special delivery arrangements are to be adhered to these must be stated at the time of ordering and accepted by us in writing.
LOOSE FURNITURE: TABLES, CHAIRS, STOOLS, SOFT SEATING
For orders over £500.00 nett and where deliveries are made within our usual delivery lead times, carriage is free to mainland England, Wales and a line below Glasgow and Edinburgh to a single destination. Orders under £500.00 nett will be subject to a minimum £50.00 + VAT surcharge. If special delivery arrangements are to be adhered to these must be stated at the time of ordering and accepted by us in writing.
All deliveries are made to tailgate only. It is the customer’s responsibility to offload their furniture from the vehicle on arrival and ensure there is adequate personal to achieve this. We can arrange for the furniture to be placed or installed at an additional cost – please contact sales office for details.
Important: The majority of our furniture is delivered fully assembled, unless otherwise stated on the individual product pages. Therefore, please ensure the items you are ordering will fit through a standard doorway. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that you have adequate access into your building to accommodate the items ordered. Returns will not be accepted for items which are simply “too large” as most products are tailored to an individual’s requirements.
Shortages and damage
Notifications of shortages or damages must be made in writing within 2 working days of receipt of delivery to the designated delivery address on your order. We cannot be held responsible for damages or shortages once the goods have been transhipped from the original address. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check all furniture PRIOR to transhipping the goods, as any shortage or damages reported after this time WILL NOT be accepted.
Where goods are collected from our premises it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure an appropriate vehicle is used and the responsibility for loading the furniture correctly is with the carrier and not Aspire Seating’s staff.
We welcome new accounts, however:
1) First orders are processed on a pro forma basis only.
2) A credit account will be opened at our discretion. Account holders are strictly 30 days from date of invoice. Failure to adhere to our credit terms could result in a credit account being suspended.
3) We reserve the right to request a 50% deposit for non standard products from credit account holders.
Whilst we endeavour to meet our customer’s delivery date we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside of our control. We will therefore not accept claims for loss of trade or any subsequent loss.
We reserve the right to alter the design and specifications of our product without prior notice. However, if orders are to match existing furniture previously supplied by Aspire Seating then please notify is at the time of ordering and will endeavour to match as closely as possible. (Please note: all dimensions given are approximate and in millimetres.)
Ownership of goods
The ownership of goods shall remain with Aspire Seating until such time that payment has been received and cleared in full.
We do endeavour to hold stock products however these are subject to availability. You are welcome to check current stock levels with our sales office to ensure that we are able to meet your requirements before placing a firm order.
As the majority of our product range is manufactured to order we cannot accept cancellation or amendments except with out written consent and on our terms, which will indemnify Aspire Seating against loss. Goods that are acceptable for return or cancellation will automatically attract a minimum 25% re-stocking charge, plus an appropriate collection charge, where applicable.
Aspire Seating retains ALL rights / copyright on any image depicted in their literature, website or image CDs. Customers are free to use these images for the sole purpose of advertising Aspire Seating’s product range only. If you are asked to remove our images from your advertising literature you must comply within 7 days. Any authorised use could result in prosecution.
A warranty is shown on each page for every product we offer. This warranty is exclusive of fair wear and tear, including neglect or abuse of our furniture. In the rare event that you should be unsatisfied with the performance of any product we reserve the right to inspect the item concern or request photographic evidence prior to making any decisions concerning the exchange, or rectification.
